My arms hold her tight, eyes still watching,
mind still awake, I hold this angel, And watch day fade to night,
Although its cold outside, and the wind howls away, I am warm and safe, and here I lay, an angel by my side,
Her eyes show her past, her pains masked by innocence,
her hands clutching my shirt, showing her need, for the moment to last,
And to hold her close,
her warmth washing over me, like the warmth brought by sunr
